Structure and Application of Jib Crane

The jib crane is of light working duty. It consists of a column, slewing jib, slewing drive device and electric hoist. The lower end of the column is fixed to the concrete foundation by anchor bolts. The slewing motion of the jib is driven by a cycloidal pinwheel reducer. The electric hoist travels horizontally along the jib I-beam to lift heavy loads.
The jib adopts a hollow steel structure, featuring light self-weight, large span, high lifting capacity and durable service life. The built-in travelling mechanism is equipped with special engineering plastic wheels with rolling bearings, which deliver low friction and smooth movement. Its compact overall dimensions effectively increase the hook lifting stroke.
It can achieve a large lifting height even under conditions with very limited headroom. The electric jib crane is a new generation of light-duty lifting equipment designed for modern production. Matched with the high-reliability JPK chain electric hoist, it is especially suitable for short-distance, frequent and intensive lifting operations. It features energy saving, labor saving, small floor occupation, and easy operation and maintenance.
The mobile jib crane is flexible and highly adaptable, serving as an essential independent emergency lifting device for automated production lines to ensure smooth operation of the whole production line.
The articulated jib crane boasts novel structure, flexible extension and retraction, convenient operation and energy efficiency. During operation, the load is lifted by pressing the electric button. Through the bending and slewing movement of the beam, it can avoid obstacles within the working area and maximize the operating space. It can be easily pushed manually to any position within the working range.
The jib crane is composed of a column, slewing jib, jib drive device and electric hoist. The base at the bottom of the column is anchored to the concrete foundation with foundation bolts. The motor drives the reducer to realize jib slewing, while the electric hoist runs back and forth on the jib I-beam for handling operations.
The jib crane shortens production preparation and non-productive time and reduces unnecessary waiting. We provide jib cranes in complete specifications and varieties. Regardless of requirements on lifting weight, slewing angle, jib length and functions, all models share common advantages: light weight, long jib arm, large lifting capacity, and simple installation, operation and maintenance.
As a fully independent ideal workstation crane, it is also applicable to outdoor yards and loading and unloading platforms. The fixed-column type occupies a small floor area.
Classified as a light-duty crane, the jib crane adopts a hollow steel jib with light self-weight, large span, high load capacity and excellent durability. It slews smoothly under loaded conditions. Both the jib and travelling mechanism support manual and electric drive with safe movement and accurate positioning.
The built-in travelling mechanism adopts guide rail pulley units for low friction and flexible travelling. It supports 270-degree slewing. It can be matched with chain hoists, linear balancers and VPL spreaders, with surface treatments of galvanizing or baking paint optional.
According to different track forms, pillar jib cranes are divided into inner-mounted track type and outer-mounted track type. Matched with PK chain electric hoists, it can quickly and efficiently transport materials at workstations.
The pillar jib crane can be installed at any position to adapt to various occasions, making it an ideal choice for workshops where other conveying equipment cannot be installed due to structural limitations.
