Precautions for Purchasing Electric Hoists
As lifting equipment, safety is the top priority when selecting an electric hoist. Thus, strict attention must be paid to quality during procurement.
Quality is generally assessed from the following aspects (prior to delivery, i.e., during procurement):
Clarify the origin, material, motor model, as well as the brand and price of the electric hoist.
Lifting HeightAs a lifting tool, electric hoists have strict requirements for lifting height. Select the height based on your workshop height. Standard lifting heights: 6 m, 9 m, 12 m, 18 m, 24 m, 30 m. Non-standard designs are available for special applications.
Lifting Speed
Single-speed (8 m/min) (Model CD1): Standard choice for general applications.
Double-speed (8/0.8 m/min) (Model MD1): Ideal for scenarios requiring precise positioning.
Note: Lifting speed directly impacts work efficiency; higher speeds improve productivity.
Motor PowerMotors vary by model. For example, a 10 t hoist may use a 13 kW or 7.5 kW motor. Select based on your specific needs.
VoltageElectric hoists support multiple voltages:
380 V (industrial), 220 V (residential)
Non-standard: 440 V/60 Hz, 380 V/60 Hz, etc.
Installation Type
Electric trolley type: Moves horizontally (left/right) and vertically (up/down).
Fixed type: Only vertical lifting; subdivided into upper fixed (A1) and lower fixed (A2).Choose based on your on-site conditions.
Distance from I-beam Bottom to Hook CenterPay attention to the vertical hook spacing. For workshops with low ceiling heights, low-headroom electric hoists are available to meet clearance requirements.
